Founded in 2019, Rough Edge Collective is the artistic partnership of Maria-Jose and Joshua Lawyer, who first crossed paths in an art gallery in 2011. Drawing inspiration from their diverse backgrounds, MJ's passion for mural art was ignited during her childhood rides on the subway in Toronto, while Joshua found his creative voice in the vibrant 90s Bay Area graffiti scene.

Together, they focus on creating murals that evoke the grandeur of museum paintings, transforming walls into captivating works of art.
